Okay, so I haven't found the hookup for my memory card reader, so no photos just yet. I did, however, haul the scanner back upstairs. Which means you all get to see my Simon/Nia commission!

I...didn't get a lot done today, but I was feeling kind of groggy and under the weather most of the time. Maybe I had too much McDonald's for lunch. If I'm losing my tolerance for cheap, crappy food, I'm going to be very disappointed.

I've read up through volume five of Petshop of Horrors now, and even if it is occasionally a little difficult to follow (a problem I have with most manga; in shounen, it's usually the fight scenes, here it's the speech bubbles not being quite connected to the proper characters sometimes), I still thoroughly enjoy it. However, I'd like to know if there's anywhere I can download a) Double Arts, for the awesome ladies and the plague premise and b) Katekyo Hitman Reborn (in large chunks rather than chapter by chapter), for the ridiculous crack and epic brain(-rotting) candy potential. found it B) I tried one-manga, but the quality of Double Arts there was...disappointing enough to put me off.

Constantine returns on [info]polychromatic tomorrow. I already know how that's going to happen, and it will be pretty unpleasant for him. Which is as God intended.

Still not sure what to do about Nia at [info]polychromatic. I love her so much, why must trying to RP her always make me feel utterly insecure? I guess I'll figure it out tomorrow.

Yeah, the textures are really nice. And I'm particularly smitten with Nia's expression.

Poor Constantine. Why hasn't Yuuko prodded him yet? XD

Also, asjdflskdjf PETSHOP. One of my all-time favourite mangas. I'm pretty much in love with D, despite the fact that he's a) androgynous as hell, b) 9385934957345 years old, c) is flamboyantly, flaming gay. &hearts

Maybe she's waiting for the ~right time~, as is her wont.

D is totally awesome. And I'm not sure he's so much gay as...I don't know...D. Although he's sure as hell not anything remotely resembling straight. ♥ There totally needs to be a crossover where he and Yuuko meet. They can have a, a bake sale together or something, and he can try and fail to convince her that tea is better than sake.

I-I really need to reread/catch up on xxxHolic, especially now that I have chibi Yuuko to encourage me. wtf how can she be so cute and so badass at the same time.

... don't give me idea, plz. I've had them as the ideal crossover for so long now. Both selling dreams and wishes for a sometimes-sinister price? BFFs ;__;

Go go go go! Yuuko is just that awesome. ... well, actually, not so much in the more recent chapters since we don't get to see her as much, but the new arc looks somewhat promising. CLAMP is really zooming in on the TRC plot and Watanuki.

I could only find one other Simon/Nia print being offered in Artist's Alley, and I didn't like it that much. So...commission it was.

I don't know! They're just...so ridiculously OTP. I feel kind of weird about it because I actually have a fair amount of issues with Gurren Lagann as a series itself, but Simon/Nia reduces me to incoherent fangirling mush.
