In other news, I am still slightly hypomanic, but I think it's winding down. I still reallyreally want Nexus City and/or sandboxing, though. Especially since I'm almost finished watching what I have of the Wire, and season 4 won't be coming out on DVD anytime soon. I mean, I could torrent it off the internets and watch that, but I want to watch it on my nice big TV.

I'm also slacking off on writing the ficlets I've promised people. I WILL WORK ON THAT. Srsly.

I have a bunch of icons I need to make, but really I just want to make simple Wire icons. Sigh. However, I do need to open Photoshop soon so that I can make some entries for fandomsecret. Apparently I have no shame. Okay, I admit it: I just want to make some entries for that place that don't look butt-ugly.

Also, this and this are ridiculously adorable and I want them. Especially the Rin one.

I hope you get your new computer soon! And not just because I miss RPing with you and would totally sandbox with you. Only partially because of that.

I am home. I have escaped the pit of family angst for a while. I noticed that the latest episodes of House reairing were the two I hadn't seen, and I sat down to watch them. But when I got back up to my computer, I saw that I'd received some plaintive cries from a lost Archii in need of fic.

So. I've been meaning to write this as a part of my longer Rin/Archer fic, but I guess for now I'll whip it up here. I'll write more after I've a) finished the series b) gotten something out for my 30_kisses claim and c) worked on my IchiHime essay for ship_manifesto.

Why is it so damn hard to get a grip on these two characters? Especially Archer--his voice is impossible to find. And for some reason, I feel ill at ease with my usual writing style in this situation. I don't know--maybe I'm just rusty. But I kept being plagued by the images in the ficlet and I just had to get them out.

Plans for making today Cute Day were wrecked. By what? Fate/Stay night, damn its eyes.

I just watched episodes 13-15 and had some things explained to me (yes, I needed it, shut up I'm really dense), and I am totally feeling the love for the Saber-Shirou-Archer-Rin love cube. Also, Archer is now my favorite character.

As much as I hate to admit it, I really kind of want to write a long fic now (not multichaptered, I think, because the structure isn't right for it) juxtaposing flashbacks with Archer running into Saber in a previous Grail War with him attempting to forge a weird life with Rin somehow after this War.

Problem is, while I'm probably going to work from the anime timeline, I'll definitely need more information on the canon. I really, really hope someone translates the game soon, or I may have to find a translated script and just read that. BUT I WANT MY PORN.

However, the main reason I am making this post is to draw everyone's attention to the canonicity of Rin/Saber. I have collected screencaps.

Instead, I went and claimed Fllay at 5trueloves (which is a kickass community idea, and I am shocked that nobody has claimed Sasuke there yet. Anyone? Anyone? a_white_rain? Anyone?), giving myself even more things to do. But making the Jewingan makes up for all that. Somehow.
